These tables give the Guerrilla Tactics Targeting scores to help determine the strongest and weakest assets, indexes, sectors, and funds composites. Each table can be sorted by column. Place the cursor in the #1 row tab, selecting the row. This will high-light across the headings in row 1. Then right click your mouse button; scroll down to "Sort Ascending or Sort Descending. A new column menu will appear allowing choice of the column by which to sort.
Name: Name of the Index or Fund Composite.
Close: The last period's closing price, yesterday for daily prices, Friday close for weekly prices.
Change: The dollar or cents price change between the most recent two closes.
% Change: The percent change between the most recent two closes.
Target: This is the target reading for the most recent close.
Ideally, we want the strength rate to be above 50 before we commit dollars to the fund or index. A ranking above 65 shows superior strength and should be held. When the ranking slips below 65 the holding can be sold at your discretion. When the ranking drops below 50 the holding should be sold.
FT%Y1: This is the Fund Target percent change over the closing target value one period ago (Day,Week). This gives an indication of the recent movement.
FT%Y5: This is the Fund Target percent change over the closing target value Five periods ago (5 Days, 5 Weeks). This gives an indication of the Intermediate term movement intermediate trend.
Cross 50?: This value will be a 1 if a fund or index crossed above 50 from below between the most recent periods. The value will be -1 if the fund or index crossed below 50 from above between the most recent periods and otherwise zero. This column shows, at a glance, funds or indexes that may require attention. Sort buy this column (Z-A) to quickly see which indexes have recently crossed above the 50 line. Sort by (A-Z) to reveal the indexes or funds that have moved below.
Cross 65?: Same as above but an indication of funds or indexes that have crossed above or below 65.
End Date: This is the last day of data in the report. It is wise to always check this to ensure the date being analyzed is up to date.
